A great place to hone your skills...
Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay is one of the largest Wildlife Rehabilitation Sites in Wisconsin. It’s one of the best places I can think of to hone your skills and learn new techniques for photographing wildlife. If you’re as lucky as I am, you might have a similar area near you. Take advantage of it, if you do.

Our Sanctuary has a great display of Raptors on display all year long, as well as Bobcat, Martin, Wolves, Whitetail Deer, Coyotes, A Cougar, Otters, as well as many other native and migrating birds and waterfowl….
Most of the Raptors are rescued birds brought in by the public or Wisconsin DNR staff.
They are usually injured when they arrive, and are rehabilitated by the staff. Some are returned to nature, and some that may not be able to return are added to the exhibit.

Along with the excellent rehabilitation aspect, this park is a wonderful place to bring the kids for a day of fun and learning. There is a learning center on the grounds just for the kids, where they can gain an understnding of the value of nature.

If you have a chance to visit Green Bay, put this park on your “Must see” list. You won’t be disappointed.
