I guess Mother Nature is trying to make up for the summer long drought in Kentucky. Now we seem to be getting rain almost every day. As Tim E would say.....YIPPEE COYOTE! I made a trip to Raven Run again today. I am beginning to understand what a beautiful place it is. I can wait until spring. I hiked it in the rain today, It was worth every soggy step. Here's a shot from today. Hope you like it. Also here's a link to a gallery of recent stuff, mostly waterfalls. Thanks for looking!

Man, I like this Dominic. Your gallery is really nice. Could you please send some of that rain back to Arkansas?

I'm jealous of all the rain and waterfalls :frown: - hopefully we'll get some around here to fill up the creeks. Eden Falls was nearly dry when I was there last weekend. Nice gallery!

Very nice work Dominic, loved the gallery. Kentucky doesn't have a monopoly on rain ... we're expecting to get between .5 - 1" of rain today .... FREEZING RAIN!

I'm hoping it's enough to keep me from being able to get to work tomorrow, but of course not enough to keep be from finding suitable photo opportunities!

Love the composition... my eye has something interesting to view all the way through the photo.

I'm have been nothing but teased by rain over the weekend, it either went north or south of me which has been very typical for the past couple of years. The St. Louis area has been stuck in a dry slot and I have about 10 really good waterfalls on hold and ready for some rain.... but about 60 miles south of me received 2+ inches of rain overnight, such a tease!

Great shot! Did you have problems keeping the water from splashing up on your lens? I enjoyed your gallery. Thanks for sharing.

John, I didn't have issues with water coming up onto my lens. I was on a small ledge above the waterfall that you can see in the lower right. I was, however, working under an umbrella, because it was raining a pretty good clip by the time I took this picture.
