Approaching Storm
I was photographing northern Dragonflies in Glen Affric, Scotland. The weather in this beautiful Glen can change very quickly. The light you see here only lasted about a mintute and then the gloom set in, minutes later I was soaked to the skin.

Canon EOS 1D MK11, 28-70mm Lens, Tripod, F22, Iso Rating 200, No Filters.

Excellent shot, proves the old saying never say I`ll come back later and take the shot, it`s a fickle thing light :-)

Great shot, I especially like the brightly lit reeds in the foreground. Everything about it pushes the right buttons for me.

great light and a pleasing composition.
Give it a touch more than 1 degree clockwise and it'll be straight.

Brings back memories of those stormy skies on mull... and getting soaked through! I really like this. The line of trees gives a great sense of depth and perspective, with the highlighted reeds in the foreground reflecting this line. Love it. Great vision Danny. :toast: :toast:

Very ver nice light. Really like it. If anything I would have just avoided the bit of foliage in the lower right corner.Tristan

As has been mentioned, light is nothing short of perfect and I like combination of pine trees on curved shore and side light reeds. As Tristan has mentioned that bit of foliage in bottom right would better be gone.

Cheers,
Marko
