A somewhat unusual pose for this bird. It was very alert. A Sparrow Hawk was close by this morning. All birds were very alert and not easy to capture.

Stunningly sharp and full of detail Edwin
Perhaps a bit tight to the left frame edge
Excellent cap considering the prescence of a Spar - good one sir

Brilliant pose and perfect exposure. For me it's a bit too big in the frame but that's a very personal thing. I'd love to have this shot.

Well captured of a Nuthatch in a seldom seem pose. Excellent exposure and detail.

Lovely Edwin - I can see you are having lots of fun with the D300.

Cracking shot Edwin. I know most people go for the Nuthatch heading down the tree trunk, but this is really, very nice. Love the way the background colour matched the breast plumage.

Good to see you making use of your improved ISO's too in the dull conditions.
