Hi,
Another from a weekend going through a whole bunch of RAW files that were either passed over or just forgotten about.
I don't use a regular feeding station but take a portable setup to areas where the birds are fed regularly, this particular Robin actually sits on my lens hood and waits, is often hopping around my feet and really has become a good friend...
Don't know how I missed this pose in the original cull....
All the best
Phil
p.s. although not an Xmas I am looking forward to, there has been a shortage of Robins

Nice little chap. Wonderful warm colours and I love the heads up. Ever tried mealworms to get him on you're hand?

Very good Phil, soft and sharp at the same time. Love the dappled background and soft lighting.

Yeah really nice image Phil. I had a Robin sit on my wing mirror when I was in the car not so long ago. My door was open and it then jumped into the car, and then foraged around on my footwell for food right by my feet. I had to eventually resort to sharing my digestive with it. Quite a magical moment I must admit. Sorry if you mentioned this before, but what does your portable setup consist of Phil?
