Well, it must be over a year since I've posted here (life, the universe and everything getting in the way), I hope you don't mind a wayward photographer returning to the fold It's good to see many familiar names are still posting.
Aside from missing the excellent photography here I've also missed the call for the 2nd UKNP conference being held up in my neck of the woods! Still, that's the way it goes sometimes. Anyway, I hope you like this shot taken earlier in the year up on the South Lake District fells.

Absolutely, and what a nice image to return with, one of my favourite LBJ's only one minor nit is that I wish it was the other side of the frame....
Looking forward to more

Lovely and crisp with a bit of habo and a clean background. Really nice. Would reiterate Phils commment about subject placement so that it was loking into the frame not out of it.

Still time for the conference Paul - just drop Tom an E-mail.

A lovely shot of a grand little bird - a favourite of mine. Good to see you posting again Paul.

beautiful pastel colours, as for placement in the frame it think it isn't too bad, if you shift it so it is looking into the frame you'll lose the ridge in the rock that leads your eye to the bird

Only one nit, and that's been covered

Very nice, I agree with Jack that pose fits in quite nicely with the shape of the rock. Perhaps just a little more space on the rhs?
