I really like the snow flying in the background, Phil. I do wish there was a little more room all around in the image though. I'll also add that I love the snow on the head.

I thought I had cropped this one in the camera but I did have a little more space. How is this?

This one actually shows off the snow a little bettter. If we ever get some more snow I hope to experiment a little more.

I like the second posting better, Philip, and I like the male and female Cardinal together! I've only been able to get one or the other...apparently they don't like to sit together outside my window! LOL

Both the updated images are better in my opinion, Phil. Excellent choice on the vertical as well.

The color and light in the first is sweet.. I love that blue tone expressing the cold and time of day.. The vertical was a good choice on the pair.. I would snip off a bit more of the sky.. I prefer the second and third as well..

Both the second version and the vertical are wonderful, Philip. Nothing says "cold" more than a bit of snow on the face. That image really tells the story.

Thanks for the suggestion I also think the second version is much better.

2nd version is great---the vertical---we'll I'd leave it alone. I can see "BIRDERS WORLD" written across the top---don't crop it!

Beautiful work Philip, the cardinal with a little more room is my favorite, and the vertical is pretty amazing as well
