I took this shot a couple of weeks ago on my way home from Brandon Marsh. I spotted the plover wheeling around prior to going to roost and as I pulled the car over, the sun burst out from under the low cloud to create an impressive cloudscape. I managed half a dozen shots only before the sun was gone and the birds were down on the ground. There was no time to think about camera settings and lenses, so I used what was on and metered from one of the brighter areas of sky before taking the shots. I keep going back to this shot in particular, but can't make my mind up how good or bad it is, or whether there is a better picture to be made with the crop tool. I'd really value some opinions, either way. Bin it or keep it??
Thanks for looking.

stunning image Eric not sure how you could consider binning it, maybe crop a bit off the right to make the birds a bit less central
Oh I think keep it, something about it that I like...

This is a lovely composition Eric. The cloud formations are so well balanced and the shape of the birds are in perfect harmony. The mellow colours are an added bonus and the lighting is just perfect. I think it's a winner.

Definate keeper Eric
Personally I'd crop it top and bottom for a bit of a pano

Thanks for the C&C. I guess it's a keeper. I always felt it probably was and the crop suggestions do improve it. Thanks again.
