Three Aspens
I liked the glow of these three Aspen trees in SE Oregon. I wish there wold have been a fourth one. What do you all think? Thankyou for looking and any comments.

I like the contrast of the blue and gold here Will. I agree, a fourth would have been cool  . What's the scar in the gap? At first I thought was a switchback in a road, but now I'm not so sure?

They're nice--the yellow against the cool blue background really works. I don't care for the oof foreground though.

Will: Nice shot, but I'll concur with comments of the others. Another benefit of shooting from a higher angle, besides avoiding the fuzzy FG, would be that the shaft of light that cuts across the top of the tree on the right would have been above it instead. Also, I feel like I want to see the top of the hill. A nice arrangement otherwise, and beautiful colors.

I do not wish for a fourth one. Actually, allthough this is just general popular opinion not to be taken seriously in every instance, including odd numbers of main subjects is usually aestheticly favored over the even (1, 3 or 5). The light is fantastic here and the scenery beautiful. However, I too find the OOF foreground very distracting, particularly because it is similarly illuminated.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, the foreground was something I kept going back and forth on. I wish I would have spent a little more time at this location to get it right as I really like the light. John- I think you are right. That is a switchback of a trail- I think an atv trail. I didn't notice it before. Good eye.

The lighting is quite nice. As already stated I don't care for the out of focus FG. Out of focus can be ok but not on this particluar piece. The other thing would be slightly more room on the edge trees would be nice.
