After the storm, Garden of the Gods
Derek Sedillo and I took a little pit stop on our way to work today.

Garden of the Gods is never more beautiful than when there's fresh snow everywhere. I think the sky's too polarized on #3, but the others look great. Those clouds add a lot to the scene.

I wish I had a pit stop like this on the way to work. Really nice stuff. I love #1.

It was a beautiful morning that is for sure! Great shots and tips for nice comps.

I haven't had much time for processing yet with family in town.

We will have to do it again next big snowfall or possibly take a 1/2 day or day trip somewhere.

Very cool stuff. The first is my fav. I never tire of seeing shots of this place after a snow.

Jeez, I need to get some GOG snow shots this year. This is killing me. All of the comps on these are great. The clouds definitely do help too. I like the polarization on #3, don't change it.

#1 looks nice. These rest seem WAAAY over-polarized. In #2 and #3, I think the sky is too dark. It's a little better in #4, but the polarization is very evident in the way the color of the sky changes left-to-right instead of up-and-down. I would guess that this happens in #1 also, but the tree does a nice job of hiding it.
