In October I made my first trip into Southern Utah and was blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of the landscape. I definitely am looking forward to going back for more than just a few days.
I know this is image from Zion NP is one of those cliche shots but I have never seen it shot in the morning with back-lighting through the trees. At sunset the bridge where I took this was packed with photogs but no one was around the next morning when I took this.
I have a 30x40 printed on metallic paper hanging here in the office and it just seems to grow on me. I don't know if it is the metallic paper, the lighting or what. Could be that it is the first large print from the 32MB DB I spent the next 5 years of allowance on.
Comments/critiques appreciated!
Mamiya 645AFDII, Phase One P30+ DB, 50-110 lens. No filter but a little sharpening in PS.

The backlight on the leaves is very nice. Great blue skies too. I'll bet this looks good in a large print.
