Using an 360 track Excavator as a hide
Hi all :wavey:

Today was a day I decided to take the camera to work

Reason: Because a pair of stonechats have been keeping me company all week whilst I was digging. I have been watching this pair all week & they even sit on the bucket during rest periods

By taking in the camera today I simply was able to use the excavator as a hide, hilarious

Here is a shot of the male showing off after he caught a big grub, doesn't he look proud

Thanks for looking :toast:

ISO 200, F8, 180th sec with the engine off
Using digger as a hide & the controls to rest the lens

Please forgive me for not commenting much on the great images being posted. 6 weeks left to meet our deadline to move to our new Centre & I am on time & within budget :jump: Touch wood (This being my head lol)

Hi Vince,

Lovely shot, colours are really good and love his pose. Never seen an image of one on the ground. Pleased to hear work is going as planned.

Regards

Rob

Nice Vince,
Strange what turns up when you leave the digger for a minute or two :wavey: :wavey:

Great Stonechat shot - not the usual stance - beautiful colours and very sharp Digger's a bit tight to the frame for my liking.
