Starling
Taken today decided to give the vivid option a Wurll in my d300 man is it colourful, I have desaturated the grass a little as I don't think you would like the luminous green it was.

Phillip.

D300 sigma 800 1/320@f8 iso400.

PP in Capture NX & CS2.
Cropped from landscape to portrait.

Hi Phillip,

These birds really do have magical colours and you have captured them superbly here, also razor sharp. I too would prefer a little more room on the right.

Regards

Rob

Excellent shot of an under-rated subject IMO. Could it stand being a touch darker, it looks a bit washed out on my monitor (mind you it's an uncalibrated one at the moment).

Great, looks like the D300 is certainly a capable camera. The colours are supurb.

Like the Sparrow, the Starling is an underated bird IMHO. This is a very pleasing shot indeed.
