OK, I may be overly paranoid here, but my 5D is less than a month old, and I need advice:
I'm now noticing a tiny bit of play when my 70-200mm is mounted. I can wiggle the lens in the mount a millimeter or so, and of course there's a slight click noise as the lens stops in each direction. It's very slight but noticable now. I did bump the lens on the hood last night (I stupidly left the tripod head too loose and the camera hinged forward and the hood hit the tripod leg with a thump). After that it seemed to have the "play". But the lens was tripod mounted on the ring, so the body was just hanging on. I don't think that should have mattered. I'm wondering if that wiggle has been there all this time, and maybe I'm just now noticing it after checking the lens out after the bump.
So is that wee bit of play normal, or should the lens sit rock solid tight on the body? And if I sent it in for service, would I send the body or lens? I checked the screws and mounts on both, and all seems tight.
If someone with a 5D and 70-200mm 2.8 could give a wiggle on theirs and check, I'd be most grateful.
Thanks!

Hey Paul,
I don't have a 5D but, i do have the 70-200 2.8 on a 1DmIII and there also is a little bit of play there.
no need to worry this is pretty normal.

My 1.4x tele-converter on my 5D has a little bit of play in it. I'm not too worried about it.
