Yet another ice picture. We ended up with about 1/2" at the house, with branches snapping at about the speed of popcorn popping. Responsiblities kept me inside most of Sunday but I did get out for about an hour in the evening. Here's the best of them.

Interesting combination of "greens" and ice Bruce. You captured some pretty nice details even through the ice.
Sounds like there was plenty of ice to go around with this last storm. I'm looking forward to the snow we are expecting in KC starting tonight. Time to break out the gaitors and hot chocolate and hit the trails!

Nice detail in the ice and the leaves Bruce, well done. May get some snow here this weekend also, I'll have to make some time to get out with the camera.

Hope we don't see that here (though it is pretty!)

Tom, for whatever reason my house rarely loses power, but lots of other people did. Probably a fourth of people in the area are still without power and may be for another week. We took in some boarders who would otherwise be freezing but they've gone on. Most folks with power did have somebody sleeping in their living room during this.

Bruce very generous to help out your neighbors. Interesting close up of the ice. I guess your getting some snow tonight.

Thanks Gale but I've actually made out like a bandit. When people lose power and come over to your place they're worried about food in their fridge spoiling so they bring it with them. I now have a fridge full to overflowing with foods that have been banned in the Lauderdale household. And I'm expected to eat them before they go bad I'm enjoying myself
