And yet MORE Ice!!
Looks like everyone has been out shooting despite the nasty conditions. The ice certainly makes for some beautiful shots. Topeka got about 1/4 inch coating, but the roads thankfully were fine, but lots of power outages. And like everyone else, we're supposed to have snow tonight! Whoo hoo (NOT!) I took this one on Wednesday afternoon when it was still cloudy. I'm including an alternate BW version. Comments and/or suggestions on both appreciated.

Canon Rebel XTI, tripod
ISO 100
F11 @ 1/8

Angela very neat covered bridge and the ice is beautiful on the trees. I am usually a color guy but I kinda like the BW best for this shot. Good job and have a Merry Christmas

Hi Angela, I agree with Gale here, wonderful scene and the b/w version gives a stronger sense of the cold, icy event. Thanks for sharing! :wavey:

I'll agree with Wayne and Gale, the b/w gives more of the icy feeling. We're digging out from at least 8", probably more, of snow right now.

I vote for the Black and White version also. Thanks for sharing

Angela, I am with the pack on this one. The color version is pretty monochromatic anyway, so the B/W treatment works better, IMO. Nice find on the bridge. Thanks for sharing!

B&W is my first choice these days, and it's my favorite here.
