Folks,
For various reasons, it has been difficult for me to maintain me duties as meeting coordinator for the Midwest Forum. While I anticipate 2008 being better for me, I just can't gaurantee that I will be able to active in travel and in organizing meetings.
If anyone would like to volunteer to take over meeting coordinator duties, please e-mail me or Chuck Beatty.
Given the wide geographic spread of the members of forum, co-coordinators may work well, especially if the individuals are widely separated in distance (Minnesota and Ohio, for example).
I will remain available as an information resource, especially for Ohio and the Michigan Upper Peninsula.
I'm not sure what the perfect answer is to this. As you say, there is a very large area that constitutes this group. While generally good, it does make meet-ups difficult. At the moment, the ohio/indiana area seems to constitute the greatest percentage of active members, so I believe at least on of the coordinator's should be from that area.
