I KNEW Tom would beat me to the punch since he had this look in his eye after leaving my place yesterday. Here is my little photo of a nearby waterfall in Dug Hollow taken this morning about an hour ago. Nothing is at flood stage right now but it is great to see the water flowing and if you pick your spots carefully, you can find some nice waterfalls.

Tim, this is the spot where I did my first workshop with you a couple of years ago isn't it? You guys have all the fun! Thanks for sharing!

Tim, It's nice to see that you've found time to hunt waterfalls, even though you're insanely busy this time of year. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Hey Tim, that is where my first workshop was also. It does not look like you got much snow last night?

Nope, just a dusting of snow, but the ground was frozen this morning. We used to take workshops into Dug Hollow but it seems more and more these days folks are less and less physically fit when they come to workshops and I don't want to get anyone into trouble (especially me with their lawyers!). So we go to easier places now most of the time, especially since we have access into Smith Creek. We may still run down into Dug Hollow from time to time if the water levels are good when we have the one day workshops here at the new classroom. Dug is the closest place to me and I can easily get there in 20 minutes from the cabin. Lots of other great waterfall areas within hiking distance of my door, but Dug is always a good bet...

brrrr, looks cold to me for some reason. Maybe cause it is cold outside here. Nice flow Tim, enjoyed your presentation here in Springfield Friday night, well done as always.

Maybe you can build a rest stop in the hillside on the way out of Dug Hollow. Some of us older folks could use a break on that steep climb out.

Nice shot Tim. Like many of us on this forum, I rely on your journal and your updates here to know what's going on in the Arkansas woods. I think my first Cloudland photo workshop (April 04) picture was of that waterfall, but Dug Hollow was flooded that morning so I'm not really sure. Please keep up the great work!
