Some snow and interesting light on the hills the other day. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Great warm light and color to contrast with the snow and steel gray sky. Never get tired of seeing this place.

Yes, this place is always so amazing.....and I especially like to see photographs of the hills with a snow-dusting. I like how natural the color and saturation apperas here. Sometimes images of the painted hills get too heavy. Nice composition setting up the progression of each hill from the near lower right all the way to the mountains in the distance.

A really sweet take on these hills. I love the added snow and the snowy mountains in the background - especially perfect since they have no light on them so the hills really grab your attention..... schweet.
Another great perspective Marc. The low angle wintertime light works wonders on this place!

I've been thinking of going there within the next couple of weeks. Your nicely lit photo just sealed the deal for me. Beautiful shot.

Nice shot. Also curious Marc, I seem to remember you mentioning something about preordering a 1Ds MkIII, received it yet? Any opinions at this time?

I very much wish I had recieved it yet, but as it is I'm on four different waiting lists (and very near the top of Calumet's list) and still haven't heard from them. The first US. shipment was really small. I doubt the whole state of Oregon got more than a dozen or so. A local photo store owner said his distributor only got two for the whole region and he likely wouldn't get one either this or next shipment. I wish Canon would actually be committed to distributing a new product after announcing it. Maybe they're just taking it easy, waiting for some bugs and glitches to arrise...

Another beautiful, luminous image, Marc. The light, as usual in your photographs, is just so very special. Brilliant.

Guess, you'll just have to keep cranking the great stuff out of the 5D until then. Hi end models always seem to release slow. I know I had to wait on my MkII.

The light dusting adds an interesting dimension. Looks like God sprinkled some flower over the hills.

This photo has many layers....and they all compliment each other very well. I especially enjoy seeing the quality of light (soft and warm) and how it balances with the shadows. And that sky and mountainous background are just about perfect. Upon further inspection, though, I see areas just above the mountains that seem a bit brighter than the rest of the sky above. Not sure if that is a result of postprocessing.

NIce, but this is about a four on a scale of 1 to 5 of your photo, Marc.
