With the intent on getting something in the bag yesterday, hopes were dashed when I found that all my 'Custom Functions' had been deleted by the Canon bods whilst fixing the MKIII :-( So back to the MKIIs which I have to say was rather nice, as the detail was there, unlike the MKIII before it was 'fixed' (still to be tested)! Colours are a little muted in the conversion sadly:-(
Anyway here you go.

Steve - needs some CCW rotation - urgently
Get the water droplets vertical mate
Cracking exposure of those highlight
Perhaps a levels adjust layer and set your black point might be a good idea too, the beak detail is looking a bit dark on my monitor.

The water drops both make it and spoil it at the same time! As Andy says, counter-rotate!
Otherwise, nice try!

Those water droplets will make this shot once.....
OK guys taking on board the c&c's here we go. As I said before, the conversion from original to the compressed file has not been kind on this one. Anyway enough excuses
Sadly the 'architecture' of this site seems not to allow me to repost for another 24hrs! Unless I am missing something? Any pointers?

Lovely image; cool blues contrast nicely with yellow bill.

Stephen,
Just post your re-worked image into a reply to this thread.

Just pushed a bit too much I guess. david, just for the record if you put a vertical line in, it runs right through the centre of each droplet. Think it might be an optical one
