I have some shepard's hooks that I'm going to set some feeders up on soon. I'm going to make the feeders though. I'm thinking a platform feeder and something for suet. I'm also going to buy a few of those thistle socks for the finches.

Does anyone have an recommendations as to the setup?? Perches and such?

Thanks!!

Hi Kyle,
I don't think that the birds are too picky. It's nice to have a setup so that you can place different perches around for different compositions. One thing I can recommend is to add some type of water feature. This will bring in just as many birds as the feeder.

Kyle,

You might try visiting the Birds and Blooms website and using their search engine to answer your specific questions about perches, platform feeders, etc. Website is at http://www.birdsandblooms.com/.
