Hey there everyone. Unless I get out this weekend, this will probably be the last shot of the year I post...I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a great new year!
This is a shot from Sunset falls on the East Fork of the Lewis River after the hard rains we had a couple weeks ago. The water had cleared up and was the most beautiful Blue/Green I had ever seen. Ice cold too!
Cheers

Great image, Darren - the color and detail is excellent. Looks like I need to get healthy again and get out there!

Darren: You certainly captured the water color as you described it. I especially like your choice of shutter speed: I get the feeling of motion but can still get a sense of "form" to the flow. Very nice!

Nice work, Dman. Fortunately you can find water with a hint of color these days, for with the recent rainfalls, anything in my neighboring area is indiscernible from sewage.
Great water texture; love the rocks in focus along the left edge and carried over to the Fall coloring on the opposite bank along the top of the frame. I imagined blue-green in your description to be a little lighter color in the photo, but this is really beautiful once I let go of my pre-imagined color! Great shot.

Nice composition exposure Darren! This looks very real to me. The foreground rocks look brilliant. I think I'd like to see just a little more brightness and detail in the opposite rock faces, they look a little too contrasty.

Tell me about it!
hey Darren, this is nice! I love the color! I'm viewing with a crappy work monitor so take this with a grain of salt, but it looks a bit over saturated...?
