If any of you are interested, the Photography Competition for the World Orchid Conference will be held in Miami this year, in conjunction with the show itself. No cash przes, only medals, in three catgories - Portrait, Natural Surroundings, and Art (which includes any pictures that are altered or not portrtaits).
Brian, I'll be in the Ft Lauderdale area the last 2 weeks on Jan to visit my parents. Would you please suggest some places where I can photograph some orchids? I know about the orchids at the Japanese Gardens.
Love orchids!
Sandy,
Make the short trip to Miami for two great venues: The World Orchid Conference and the Tamiami International Orchid Festival - both ocurring over the last weekend in January within a few miles of each other.
