One from the Richmond Park NPN meeting

Olympus E-1, 300 f2.8 and 1.4 tc, iso 100, 1/1000s at F4, tripod and AS B1 and W. Sidekick, processed in CS2. Full frame

A bit tight in the frame for my own personal liking, but many like the American "in yer face" style. I needed the 1.4 tc to isolate the subject from the rest of the resting herd of Fallow deer.

Hi Mike,

I like this. Composition not a problem for me. Gives me the feeling that he's sitting in the sun having forty winks and a break from the Rut. Love the colours in the BG matching his coat, shows off his camo pretty well.

Regards

Rob

Nice colours and DoF Mike :toast:

He's a bit too tight and central for me comp-wise, but everything else is spot on - nice light and good detail :wavey:

Mike

IMHO I prefer to see as much detail of the subject as possible. This fits the bill.

Nice one Mike. I don't think that it would hurt to have a bit more space around him as you say, but colours are very complimentary. I think you've caught the moment well.
