Another image from my recent coyote encounter.

looks very cold (may be too much blue). I like that intense look.

Thanks, Murali

Thanks Murali,
I removed some of the blue.

Intense is right. He/she is a healthy looking animal. Beautiful coat. Nicely captured.

Another nice one Michael. I love serendipity(sp?) in photography. Go out with one thing in mind and come back with something totally different than what you had planned for. :toast:

michael,

It's really nice to see your wildlife shots! This one is great! He definitely had a 'bead' on you!

Great job!

Nice shot, however yes, the snow's white balance is too blue for my taste too.
It's missing action or drama to be a great outdoors shot, but just getting that guy
so well captured is very nice.

This brings back fond memories for me as an early photographer. My first passion was wildlife photography and spent several years only doing that with my Nikon gear. As I stated in your first post Michael, this is a well fed and healthy looking animal. Always great to see wildlife in the peak of health, it would seem to give them a better chance against the harsh elements in their world.

yes, very powerful animal. I wish the background were more blurred out.

Intense is the right word. That is quite a strong gaze. This in-your-face portrait really works and presents the animal a very raw fashion.
