This is a shot from the Red Cedar Trail from last weekend. It was 4 degrees out so I thought there might be some frost along the river. I skied for a while but didn’t see any frost. Came back and was going to leave and I happened to see a little frost in the other direction. I skied for several miles but the frost was only in a small section of the trail. The slight breeze must have been blowing toward this section and the frost was very heavy. There are a few more frost pictures from that day on my web site.

You've got some very nice images of the frost, Philip. We don't very often get a heavy frost such as what you saw, so I really enjoy seeing those kind of images. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Wow that is fantastic, I've never seen frost that thick or suspended like that.
