This was from an oregon trip Bryan and I went on earlier in the year. We'll definitely be down that way again in 08. It'd be nice to get out for a day with some of the oregonians here. . .
I've been working on coming up with a portfolio I'm content with. I'll post a link when things are finalized.

A hint of soft light in the upper areas helps draw me into this one. Good luck with the portfolio design. You'll probably second-guess everything an hour or two after you're finished with it I can't wait to see it, Trevor.

I love Sweet Creek in the fall and spring. A wonderful place for color and cascades - just a bit slippery in spots (I've had a few baptisms there).
Marc, that's exactly the reason why I don't have a complete portfolio up in the first place. We're our own severely-critical judges. And then there's always the guaranteed changes in vision and camera gear that occur from year to year, which implies that if the portfolio isn't in need of an overhaul now, it definitely will be by that point.
Slippery you say, David- I do recall slipping in this general area ;had the slide exended any, I would have been in for a tubeless-river ride and consequent-skull bashing.

I like this comp Trevor. The small foliage in the FG left corner is a nice anchor and leads me in then into the water and then up the creek, a sort of Z patten. The water is perfectly exposed!
I agree on the portfolio. You can't agonize forever, just do it. We are always the most critical of our own work but it should not stop us. I am working on a new site now as well. Whatever you do, plan on making regular changes, I know I do.
