I think it is time to go away from the traditional Christmas Poinsettia and start a new tradition with the wild columbine as the Christmas flower Just kidding, I am not really a winter person so I am hoping for just a few good snows, no bitter cold and great wildflower season starting in March, would that be asking too much?
BTW I shot this one last spring at Clifty.

Sweet shot Bernie!! No I don't think your asking to much
BTW I finally made out to Clifty last Friday. Wow at the waterfalls!! Hard to get any kind of shot of them from on top. I'll have to make another trip to get there early so I'll have time to wonder around down in the gorge.

Bernie,
Nobody knows like me ho hard these guys are to photograph. In many attempts I have only one or 2 keepers. They never stop moving!
You did a great job here . The drop on the other plant really makes this image work. To nit pick, I would maybe crop off just a bit on the right as to not have the subject so bulls eyed, bit I am being really Npicking.
Have a great Xmas,
JG

That's a beauty, Bernie. Really like the water drops. I think you're requests are well in line. I'm all for it. Have a great holiday.

It's a beauty, Bernie, and certainly makes a good rival for any Poinsettia!
