Bearded Reedling part II
I think I'm in love with these little fellows. They are colourful and fast. Thanks again for all those nice comments on the previous Reedling.

Yet another winner! The shaping effect of the ice on the phragmites really adds to the composition and impression of oppressive cold, combined with the colour of the contrasting warm colours of the bearded tit (I know, I know ), really makes these shots work.

A fantastic image Edwin, I just wish we had this type of whether occasionally where they breed in my part of the country.

Pictures like these either drive you on or make you want to give up. If I can take one picture next year that is even half as good as any of these, I will be very happy indeed. In the top 1% of pictures that I have seen on here since I have been watching.
