Male Kingfisher feeding female.....
Last spring I photograph kingfisher....I wanted a special branch and this branch come from Wales!!You get in Wales mosses that we do not get in Bucks! To often kingfisher are photograph on poor prop and I think that the branch is as important as the bird.....
This is a male ofering a fish to the female...
This was photograph with the 500mm and the canon 1d2n

Lovely image. Perch adds real interest. Very envious as i have been trying to get a kingfisher for 2 years now without success.

Fantastic shot Frederic - you really have made your own luck here! The behavioral interaction adds a lot of interest. Oh, and great perch too!
