I would like to request someone write an article for NPN about how to go about getting images published in mags, etc. Like others I'm sure, Ive thought about submitting images before, but I don't have a clue as what I'm supposed to do, or the "proper procedure" for contacting mags, etc. I think it would make a great article for an upcoming issue because I'm sure I'm probably not the only person who woould appreciate this type of information. Thanks.
Hi Bill,
On this topic I found that some magazines spell out their submission guidelines very clearly. I would think that looking at these guidelines from a few different publications could be the basis for such an article. Here is one example from Bird Watcher's Digest :
I would love to have an article like that.... Getting published would give some reasoning behind my insane spending on my camera equipement for just a hobby shooter.

The Photographers Market is an excellent source for this kind of info.
