A recent visit to Mid Wales where I stumbled upon some beautiful scenery. Must go back again and allow more time to explore the area. This is just a taster.

I ment to visit that place when i went to Gigrin, but as always i ran out of time.
How come you took this one at f5.6 ?

I think it would of benefited some decent light, and the perspective makes it look wonky, slight cw rotation maybe.I too would like to know why f5.6.....was this handheld?

Since the foreground is some distance from the camera I was able to get everything in focus at f5.6. The camera was hand held. Stu I thought the light was very interesting that's why I took the picture. I could have brought more emphasis into the image with PS but prefer the subdued and peaceful tonality
Works well for me; the subtle light, and the composition with the trees framing the water and distant hills are very effective. Definitely needs rotating a couple of degrees clockwise, though.
