I wanted to formally introduce myself, and say a Merry Christmas to all in the RMNP forum.
This image is nothing compared to Paul's from dream lake, but it's the only one I've shot since returning to CO.
I lived in CO between 1999 & 2003, then I dragged my wife (a 20 year CO resident) to NC. Well as beautiful as NC was, the humidity and traffic got to us, so here we are back in beautiful CO.
I am based up in Longmont, hopefully once we're settled into a house in January I'll have some time to get and out shoot the CO winter!. So, if any of you Northern CO folks know of any good photo spots in this area (besides the obvious RMNP etc), I'll be glad of the info :).
This shot from Bear lake was taken Christmas Eve, in the very cold windy conditions Paul and Erik talked about!. Went upto Estes Park & shot through RMNP briefly!.

Rene, the Shindig sounds great, but unfortunately the last half of Jan I am occupied with house closings, and a trip to Vegas.
