I recently found (and purchased) a brand new Novoflex Universal Bellows for a great price. However, all I purchased was the bellows itself and need to buy the requisite adapters so I can mount my Nikon camera and lenses. I presume I will lose all metering and couplings between camera and lens with this system, no? And aside from the adapters, is there anything else I should consider getting to make the most use of this accessory (FWIW, I shoot primarily with a D2x and an F4s)?
Thanks for the help and I wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday.
Best wishes,
Martin

I don't have a Novoflex bellows but I've used the Nikon PB4 bellows with My Nikon F4S and D2X. If you are going to shoot a high magnifications and reverse mount a lens on the front of the bellows, then you'll need the BR-2 adapter ring. Since you will lose auto-diaphragm operation with the lens aperture, you'll need the BR-4 Auto ring and double cable release to allow the lens to stop down to shooting aperture as you fire the camera. You can't easily do it manually (at high magnifications) without moving the camera-bellows combination and moving your focus point. Also I was unable to mount the D2X on the PB4 bellows without first attaching a short extension tube to the D2X--the motor drive physically bumped into the focusing rail as I tried to mount it.
