Took this to add to my Devon Locations webpage and wanted to know your opinions on the comp etc. I looked high and low for interesting foregrounds, but this was the best I could find with interest in the background as well.
If anyone's interested in Yarner Wood in Devon, there's some more images to add slight interest to the text content
The composition works well and the exposure is nicely controlled keeping the subtle tones in the sky. It just doesn't grab me and hold my interest subject matter wise. Tristan

I think that in the context of your site the picture works well, it doesnt stand on its own for me, the idea of documenting your sites is good, I like to get a feel for the whole experience rather than just photographs of birds and the site works well for me , its something I'm pondering on myself at the moment.

Nice idea Graeme
The meta tag set on your index page will never do any harm if you paste it into the header of every page on your site - this is easy to do if you set up a couple of blank pages in your main root directory on your machine, then when you want to do a new page just pull up the blank one with the tags already inserted and imediately save it as your new page name.and then carry on as usual.
Also, every page on your site at the moment is titled 'welcome to GDL Photography' - I told you before, make that 'Welcome to GDL Photography'.
Every page could do with a different meta name - for instance, your 'About' page would be better called 'Welcome to GDL Photography - About Us' for instance - BTW what is that black area on the top of the cliffs in the pic of Conor with that dubious looking geezer??
You need to create an xml site map, add it to your server root, submitt it to Google and place the Google confirmation code in the header of your index page and get Google to confirm the maps existence before the Google spiders will obey the instructions in your revisit meta tag.
Gimme a call in the evening mate and I'll walk you through it

I looked around your site a couple of weeks back and liked the locations page you've set up. Great stuff.
Chris.
Nice shot , comp looks good to me.
