Nice, great soft light, fantastic detail in the fur, only minor nit is I would perhaps like a touch more space at the bottom... might also use a healing brush on the slightly darker patches of snow... those are only mnor, I would love a shot like this...

was it Churchill?

Love the gallery John, its on the list to do. Like Chilkat & Katmai :-)

One question, why ISO 800? Or is that me being dumb? :toast: :toast:

Hi Steve thanks for your comments. Why Iso 800, shooting from a Buggy with a Bean bag for support and Human Beings moving about also the light was poor as you can see with me using F5 at 1/250 sec. As far as Katmai is concerned where I went to at Brooks Falls you were not allowed to go closer to the Bears than 50 yards. My friend got fined a 120 Dollars for going closer.

Cheers John, we need to repect the bears

If they come to us fine, however we need to be sensitive to their wishes. If they are not happy to come to us so be it. Envy you :jump: :jump:

Late Nov or was it Dec, guess with the 'climate change' things are not that certain these days.

Cheers Steve

This is good, but I think it would be stunning as a high-key black and white.
Great series of shots :toast: :toast: :toast:
