Is anyone travelling up from the south east passing by or on the way up from Oxford?
Would like to either grab or give a lift, split fuel costs and be nice to the planet.
Also are most in the same hotel/B&B?

ooh it's almost january, time to start thinking about getting there!! i'm going up from the isle of wight and would probaly need to go through oxford, although my car might be worse than yours so maybe you might want to get me to pay some costs instead of suffering my old peugot. would be in for a share of whatver though. would be great if we could get a 4 way.

This is probably of no use to anyone, but just in case, I'll be travelling up by car from Lancaster on the day and returning the same day.

Tom, no problem passing my name on. I'd normally cut up through the Lakes from my place (I like the scenic route!) but I can stray up to Penrith or Carlisle for a pick up if necessary.
Has anyone got room for a non driving newbie from North Notts (junct 27 or 28 m1) ? Happy to split petrol costs etc

Staying up in a b&b at Solway, planing to take pics on sunday morning in local area

Happy to take a car from my house up. I'd advise against it being the Landie so would be the A3 which means would fit 3 in total with gear.
