Untill death do us apart
The male Frog didn't hear that part during the wedding. The Female at the bottom is dead and the male on top won't let go (Amplexus). I think the frog was already dead for a day. He just wouldn't let go.
Is this real love or just cold murder?

Sigma 150/2.8 iso 250 1/25 sec. F10 camera resting on the ground and fill flash (on a bracket) set to -2ev

Beautiful colours Edwin. Very sad story, but male frogs are very persistant. Its not unusual for them to clamp themselves to fish and ultimately kill them. Maybe he squeezed too tight.

This is a really great shot Edwin - drama, interest and a fine photograph in its own right. Good to have a non-furry/feathered shot occasionally too!
