...is featured this month on PhotoPortfolios.net. A long time NPN member who has also served as a moderator of the Earth, Sea & Sky gallery, Dan's superb work exhibits technical expertise and a unique style that makes his work stand out.

Be sure to take some time to peruse Dan's excellent portfolio!

Some really outstanding work, Dan. A fine collection as well as a great variety overall. It was also nice to have finally met you this fall in the Sierras too. Although the weather was a bit rough then, it was still a fine outing for the CANP folks that did make it back at that time. :toast: :jump:

I checked out several images from Dan's portfolio. Among other things, it turned out to be a trip down memory lane to places where I used to fish and hike back in B.C.(before cameras). His images are pleasant for me on several levels. The subtle lighting and atmosphere-filled landscapes are precisely my cup of tea. Good stuff and thanks. Have a great 2008.

Dan, I view your images frequently for inspiration...then head over to Marin county for some landscape outings. Never come back with quite the result that you achieve, but I keep trying and learning. Your work is much appreciated.

Congratulations Dan! Really enjoyed the trip through your portfolio and came away with several favorites: Winter Morning, Pennyroyal, Morning Storm on Lagunitas Lake, and Spring Morning. It's hard to single out any, though, as everything in the portfolio is strong. Love the color pallette on Gladiolus. Thanks for all the inspiration and your succinct insightful comments on photos in the critique fora. :toast:
