Hi chris
Surprisingly easier than you may think.
When you say capture I take it you mean on camera, as these are totaly wild and free to come and go as they please.
I first noticed them as I was filling the bird feeders in the garden.
So I built a small raised platform with a range of branches/ blackberry stems as bridges to it.
The Mice/Voles readily use these.
They are Surprisingly confiding, tolerating my presence and allowing me to use a bright torch to focus
The only downside is this all takes place at around 5.30-600am !

Hi Gary,
Many thanks for that. I am always interested in how to photograph these as I'd like to try myself sometime soon.

Beautiful image. How did you go about capturing the mice/voles?
Chris.

Nice shot - I wish I could get up that early more often.
Good to see something different.
Happy New Year
Well done.
Edwin
This is something different on UKNP - I haven't seen many small mammal shots here. I agree with the previous votes - great shot!
