Country Daybreak
Shot yesterday AM out in the country not far from my home.
Nikon D200 / Nikon 28-70/ 6 sec at F 11/ Tripod

Jack, if you haven't already explored down the valley, there are lots of "lone tree" scenes along 99W between McMinnville and Eugene that make for a nice, foggy day drive. The fields start greening up in mid-February and are very bright by March - plus, there are some nice groves of oak down there that don't leaf out until late April. Not that you don't have a few other things to photograph this winter... :wink:
