Snow bunting
from Salthouse, not particularly interesting but i quite like the comp
350D + 300mm F4L + 1.4x extender
1/400 @ F5.6
ISO 400
full frame

Hi Jack, was this on Sunday? Were you one of the 300 photographers lying on the grass? It is a nice comp as you say. bet you were dying for it to just jump up on that perch :wink:

yes i was one of the 300,

it was my first time there, is it always that busy?

i suppose that's when you got your teal as well, sorry i didn't recognise you

I've only been up a few times and no, that was horrendously busy. Not surprised you didn't recognise me as I don't look like my avatar image at all :biggrin:

I'm quite envious Jack, have never seen one of these. Looks nice and sharp, loosing a bit of the oof foreground may improve it a bit. Like the soft lighting and hues.

Fantastic bird. Those rocks give an extra punch to the image. But the bird on that rock would be great :biggrin:
