Cory, or anyone else in the area, this is about the only dates open for me to make the trip to Lone Pine area right now. Cory and I had originally planned on meeting back in the fall in Bishop but missed the chance due to cell phone issues on my part.
So, if you have the chance & would like to meet up during these dates let me know by posting here or email.......trailimages@aol.com

Happy New Year Everyone..... :jump:

Sounds good guys. Keep me posted here or email as time goes by.
Sounds like there is some real weather happening up there right now. I always wait for some of that hoping to catch some good cloud cover too.

is a 2WD vehicle adequate for the hills? I went up there once briefly but I remmeber it being very gravely. I might go depending on how my freelance job at the Times goes, ill let you know later as well.

Richard, I posted the answer to your question in Cory's post on the Sierra snow. I was wondering where the question had come from. I hope you can make it too. It will be an easy outing. I usually stay at the Frontier Motel at the south end of town.

What...you're not camping out in the hills Paul?
I might be able to get over there on those dates, please keep me in the loop.

Michael, hope you can make it too! We can pick a spot & time to meet over there as the time draws closer. Sounds like we have a good turn out taking place. Sorry, no camping for me anymore. Sold all my gear about 5 years back now after I broke my ankle so badly. :frown:

No shame about the motels Paul, I don't even like camping all that much.
