Another Winter Ruckel
The nice thing I noticed this year is that Ruckel Creek had a good "cleaning out" over the past Fall. Areas previously backed up with branches and debris have now cleared. This is another section I usually shoot when I am up there. With the branches cleared, I was able to include more of the creek leading up to this brisk little cascade.

Canon EF 20mm f/2.8

Oh, and I didn't bother to clone out or try to move the bare little tree trunk up there in the falls....

The ferns in the UR make it for me, Ned.

It doesn't grab me like your stream shots normally do, Ned - I like the ferns and the long exposure, but the upper left corner seems cramped and a bit busy. Did you shoot anything with a wider view of the upper portion of this scene?

I didn't, Tom - mainly because I can currently go no wider than 20mm. The new 16-35L is on its way soon...

I'll look forward to seeing the tips of your feet and a couple of tripod legs in future photos, Ned...

Not as much texture in the water in this one, Ned. Must've been really dark in there? Great comp, though.
