Not a great technical picture, - it is a big crop and a lot of photoshop stuff just to get it vaguely presentable, but I just love that one peering round the corner and thought you might like to see it. I think they had spotted me!

iso 800 1/320 f5.6
25% of original, CS2 levels/curves/selective sharpening etc. etc.

Absolutely love 'em and one day I will get a decent shot of these two. Technically even worse than I had thought loads of smudges left in the shot which I missed - sorry.

Hi Eric,

No problem , I don't have a Little Owl shot so I'd be more than pleased with it and with a little more time spent in PS I think it could make a very nice image , good capture.

Regards

Eric with this one for presentation, it would look better adding a 1pixel black line border around the image(via select all/right click/stroke), as the white sky is blending into the white BG on the page, making the shot look strange.

Other than that, i like the "peeka-boo" feel to the image

I think this is a very pleasing pic Eric. The key thing is you got the picture. I just love that single eye peering out.

I think I had saved it at the wrong size as well Alan. Black border is a good idea, thanks.

Hi Eric

Looking at the shot again(oh better with the black line  ), i think a tighter crop would really suit the image better.

See what i have done, just to give you an example

EDIT - Just read that this is already a big crop, so what i just suggested might not work ?.
