Here's an image from August that I just scanned and got ready for print. I was hoping for more dramatic waves this evening, to compliment the composition. Regardless of the not-quite "ideal" situation, I enjoyed the soft light on the rock formation enough to capture it. In retrospect, I'm glad I did. Low water levels on Lake Superior allowed an unusual amount of algae growth, resulting in the greenish tint in the shallows. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful pastel colors... I love seeing what's under the water and how the clouds seem to match the top of the rocks.. Nice........

The subtle coloring works very well here, Joel. The juxtaposition of the dark, linear rocks and the wispy waves creates a wonderful sense of drama.

Grad are a godsend! Nice that you didn't over saturate the color. Good job!

Beautiful image Joel, the pastel colors are so warm and pleasing to the eye, and the sweeping motion in the water is great. This is a killer shot :toast: :toast:

Excellent work, Joel. The water flow is perfect to show the underwater rocks and the lighting is just right. Nicely done.
