I'm going in circles looking for a program/plug-in for windows that I know is out there but can't seem to find. What I need is a program that looks at files in a folder (in this case, my photo images), then processes them into CD/DVD sized packages for burning to disk. A fellow photographer uses this for Mac and it works slick, no fumbling through the files to get as many as possible on the disc without going over the limit. The whole process is automated.

Rob - This is usually known as spanning CDs/DVDs. If you run a google search you can find some things. I think it's a pretty common thing to do. I thought my Roxio software could do it, but I don't have my home computer. Handy Backup is one that came up a few times searching. I think iTunes will do this when burning MP3 discs. Sorry I can't be more specific. Good luck.

Archive Creator is a Windows program that will do just what you want.
David,
Thank you, I knew my search terms must have been off-your suggestion was the key. The Handy backup comes with a 30 day trial so I'll give it a try.
