Last year whilst still living in NC, my wife and I took a 3 week trip to New Zealand. Well this trip was kind of our inspiration to move back to Colorado. We realized we missed the expansive views, mountains, and outdoor life CO has to offer.
New Zealand is an amazingly diverse Country, only a little bit bigger than the UK (my country of origin), yet has all the natural landscapes of the USA (Inc. Alaska and Hawaii) bundled into a small package.
This particular image is one that sums up NZ for me; Lakes, Mountains, and year round outdoor adventure. This is Lake Wanaka, South Island.

This is such an inviting photo with a great composition. You've done a great job keeping the eye inside the image.
Makes me wish I were there right now.
I've not been to New Zealand but it takes the best of the US including Alaska, I'm ready to go ...

I agree, we were in NZ a year ago and fell in love with it. I got some beautiful pictures from both N & S Ilands. I want to go back!

For those who have been, Scott and Don, they can both appreciate how amazing the country is!. It is a place you can easily fall in love with - the people, the amazing landscape, and just how peaceful it is!. I am definitely intending to return!!.

One of these days I will get there......it has been on my personal 'hit list' for quite some time now. Hmmmm maybe a BIG RMNP photo adventure getaway destination sometime?
