One final New Year's Day image *REPOST*
This is the third one I got from Ruckel Creek on New Year's day. Just wanted to share it. It was also posted over on ESS.

Canon 1D2
Canon EF 20mm f/2.8
5 seconds at f/22
ISO-200, polarizer, tripod

Wow! That's gorgeous, Ned! That's one of your best compositions - really nice! :toast:

Another pretty stream scene, Ned. You sure know how to pick 'em!

I like it Ned, but for me it doesn't stand out. It is technically well done, but the composition doesn't grab me as strong as some of your others.

Ned, since you're a Ruckel Creek fan, I thought I'd better post a link to a lengthy Portland Hikers discussion on the upper Ruckel Creek waterfalls. Pretty cool up there!

I really like this but even better if I cut off the bottom 15% of the image.

Here is the crop... I had a 50/50 opinion on this crop as well over at ESS

Thanks for the link, Tom - I'll have to check that out!
