I only post here occasionally as I'm never too sure about the quality of my images. I do however quite like this one. Any thoughts?

Pete, I think that the branch is too central, maybe a little more off the top might help the composition, it also seems a wee bit bright on my monitor ?
otherwise its a shot to be pleased with, I know from experience how quick these birds can be to capture sharply

I really like the background and the colors showing on the nuthatch. Somehow, the branch seems to straight across the screen. Nice shot overall!

It's a bit BIG Pete - 720 pixels on its longest side is max for this forum really
Only nits for me are the perch is a bit uninspiring, and the nutty is the wrong side
Overall though it's a good comp - the eyeline is in exactly the right place for the crop, and the BG is nice
PS - Pete, always put your full techs on your posting - camera, lens, f stop, shutter speed and iso.
